Copper rod, also known as round bar, is supplied in grade C101 which is classified as HC or high conductivity copper. It has good corrosion resistance, machinability, weldability, and formability properties. Copper is a pure metal and is an excellent conductor of heat and electricity.

Alloy 6b also know as Cobalt Alloy or Stellite 6B® is a cobalt-base alloy with excellent corrosion resistance to severe conditions and high temperatures. Alloy 6b is used for doctor blades, valve parts, pump plungers, knives, and bearings.

Nitronic 60 is an austenitic stainless steel that has a better resistance to corrosion than 304 stainless steel. Nitro 60 also has superior Chloride pitting resistance to 316 stainless steel. Yield strength of Nitronic 60 is twice what 304 and 316 at room temperature.
